Olde Towne Animal Hospital was founded in 1962 with a mission to maintain a high standard of excellence in patient care. Our hospital is a full-service AAHA-accredited and Cat Friendly Practices® certified facility treating the dogs, cats, and rabbits of the greater Southampton, NY area. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, boarding, health and travel certificates, nutrition and weight management, behavioral counseling, euthanasia, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, herbal medicine, laser therapy, chemotherapy, x-ray, in-house lab, parasite testing and prevention, pet dental, pet surgery, pain management, and more!     Veterinarian

    Dr. Rick Altieri received his DVM degree in 1987 from Cornell University, his BS from Adelphi in 1973. He has a professional interest in clinical pathology. His hobbies include hiking, canoeing, camping and boating.

  • Dr. Marcy MacMillan

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Marcy MacMillan is originally from northern New Jersey. She received a BA from Bucknell University where she majored in Economics and minored in Biology. After graduating, she went on to veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. MacMillan first worked at Olde Towne as a veterinary assistant during her summer breaks from veterinary school. Before returning to Olde Towne, she worked at a small animal hospital outside of Washington, DC. Her professional interests include ophthalmology and surgery. Marcy is married to Brian Armusewicz and has two daughters Avery and Claire. In her free time she enjoys squash, gardening, going out to eat, and going to the beach with her dog Bay.

  • Dr. Dawn Stelling

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Dawn Stelling received her DVM degree from Cornell University in 1996, her BS in animal science from Cornell University in 1992. After obtaining her DVM degree, Dr. Stelling completed a 13 month internship in small animal medicine and surgery at South Shore Animal Hospital in Massachusetts. She returned to Olde Towne in 1997 and has special interests in emergency medicine and critical care. Dr. Stelling was born and raised in Southampton. She enjoys spinning, sailing, beaching, reading and time with her children Shawn, Ryan and Summer.

  • Dr. Claude Grosjean

    DVM - Retired

    Dr. Claude Grosjean led Olde Towne Animal Hospital for over 30 years, serving as a compassionate DVM and thoughtful Medical Director. In 2023, Dr Grosjean made the decision to step into retirement, and continue the next chapter of his life in the beautiful state of Hawaii! Dr. Grosjean received his DVM degree from Cornell University in 1985, and his BS from St. John's University in 1981. He is Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui-na massage, and Food therapy from the Chi Institute. Prior to joining Olde Towne in 1993, he worked with both large and small animals here on the South Fork. He has interests in avian, reptiles, wildlife, and aquatic medicine. His hobbies include scuba diving, windsurfing, fishing, guitar, reading, and photography.
